MY SELECTED LIST OF CITIES (PART 4)
Oceania
29. Perth
Founded in 1829, Perth is the largest city in the west of Australia. Tourist attractions are usually focused around the city centre, Fremantle, and its coast and the panoramic Swan River. At Yagan Square in the Perth Cultural Centre, there stands a 45-metre-high digital tower and a 9-metre statue called "Wirin". Elizabeth Quay is also a notable attraction in Perth, presenting Swan Bells.
30. Melbourne
31. Sydney
Australia's largest city by area and population is situated on the eastern coast of the country. Despite being one of the world's most expensive cities, Sydney frequently ranks in the top ten in the lists of the most livable cities in the world. As what we have known already, Sydney is well-known for its Sydney Opera House.
32. Auckland
This New Zealand's largest city is currently set on North Island, north of the country. Auckland is a multicultural, diverse and cosmopolitan city, and a home to the largest Polynesian population in the world, although the national capital is Wellington, at South Island. Settled by Maori people around 1350, the tribe has peaked there before the Europeans. One of the famous attractions in Auckland is the Sky Tower.
