22. Casablanca

Bordering the Atlantic Ocean, Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco. Besides that, Casablanca is considered the economic and business center of Morocco, although the national capital is Rabat. The Port of Casablanca is one of the largest artificial ports in the world. The city is famous for its huge mosque, named as Great Mosque of Hassan II.



23. Algiers

Image result for algiersThis Algerian capital is set alongside the northern coast of Algeria, fronting Meditteranean Sea. Algiers is also known as 'El-Behdja' (in Arabic means The Joyous) or 'Alger la Blanche' (in French means Algiers the White) for its whitewashed buildings, seen rising from the sea. There are some notable monuments to visit such as Notre Dame d'Afrique and Monument des Martyrs. 



24. Tunis

Situated on the Gulf of Tunis, Tunisia's capital extends along the coastal plain and the hills that surround it. Its ancient city has been recognized as World Heritage Site. The modern city lies through the eastern part of the city, where the colonial-era buildings provide a clear contrast to smaller, older structures. 




25. Alexandria

Image result for alexandriaKnown as Al-Iskandariyah in Arabic, this city becomes a major economic centre in northern part of Egypt. The city fronts Meditteranean Sea at the north. The prevailing north wind, blowing across the Mediterranean, gives Alexandria a markedly different climate from that of the desert hinterland. It also is connected by canal with the Nile. 



26. Cairo

This Egyptian capital has one of the largest metropolitan areas in Africa, Middle East, and even in the world! Cairo is chaos at its most magnificent, infuriating and beautiful. From above, the distorted roar of the muezzins' call to prayer echoes out from duelling minarets. The markable Pyramids of Giza can be visited at the city of Giza, neighboring city of Cairo.



27. Cape Town

Image result for cape townA joint of cultures, cuisines and landscapes, there's nowhere quite like Cape Town, a singularly beautiful city crowned by the magnificent Table Mountain National Park. There lies the unique, flat-peaked Table Mountain, which can be seen in most parts of the city. It is one of the most multicultural cities in the world, reflecting its role as a major destination for immigrants and expatriates to South Africa.



28. Johannesburg

Image result for johannesburgInformally known as Jozi or Jo'burg, the city remains as the largest city in South Africa and one of the 50 largest urban areas in the world. Located in the province of Gauteng, its centre is smartening up as new loft apartments and office developments are being constructed at a rapid pace. The hipster-friendly neighbourhood of Maboneng is considered as one of the most successful urban-renewal projects in the world.
